Mr Patel is a technology forensic consultant listed on the ‘UK Register of Expert Witnesses’ (Law Society / Sweet & Maxwell) and vetted member of the ‘Expert Witness Institute’ (EWI) and ‘Academy of Experts’ (AoE), specialising in the analysis of digital evidence. Vocational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Business Computing, training in Forensic Science at the University of Cambridge, and a variety of technical certifications (incl. CISSP, MCSE, CEH, CCNA, CISM, CISA, CTP, CIFI). Mr Patel has evaluated thousands of telecommunication exhibits throughout his career – producing expert witness reports, analytical schedules, and exhibit packages for court/jury presentation purposes.

Mr Patel is a former representative on the prestigious ‘Internet Crime Forum’ (ICF) and past member of Executive Council at the ‘British Academy of Forensic Science’ (BAFS).

With over a decade of evidence and investigative experience, Mr Patel has been instructed by a number of leading authorities to assist in complex crime, ranging from murder to terrorism, pan-European drug conspiracies and international financial crime.
